Emerging from New Zealand's art-rock scene, the band combined theatrical flair with distinctive songwriting from Tim and Neil Finn. Here, their adventurous style meets sharp melodies, bright keyboards, and new-wave energy.

Highlights include Neil Finn's “I Got You”, with its instantly recognizable hook and uneasy romantic tension, and Tim Finn's “I Hope I Never”, a soaring, emotionally charged ballad. The instrumental “Double Happy” offers another glimpse of the group's playful musical character. A rewarding listen for fans of melodic new wave and the Finn brothers' early work.

Record details

Artist: Split Enz

Album: True Colours

Format: Vinyl LP

Catalog number: SP-4822

Side A matrix/runout, as supplied: SP-04822-AS SH3 + MCA𝓼𝓱 ∆456

Condition & care

The laser-etched record has been carefully cleaned with a Spin-Clean and placed into a new plastic sleeve.
