Over the next five years...
The MCC Canada and MCC U.S. boards of directors have decided that over the next five years the organization will focus on these three directions for MCCs programs around the world:
- Increasing the capacity of our partners to help uprooted and vulnerable people
- Increasing peacebuilding and justice work
- Caring for God's creation and supporting communities harmed by climate change
Some examples of where your donation would go:
- $10 covers the cost of planting and nurturing a fruit tree in Bangladesh, or purchasing 10 chicks in India.
- $50 provides after school tutoring in Guatemala.
- $75 helps girls attend school in Bangladesh.
- $80 provides two water filters needed for one well in Mozambique.
- $400 provides tuition for one refugee child living in Lebanon.
- $1,200 provides hygiene and sanitation education for an entire neighborhood in Ethiopia.
