Volunteer Testimonials:
Martha [volunteering since 90's, works with books] "I love the camaraderie between volunteers; we are one big family! It's also good to know that the work I do helps people in need both here in our community and across the globe."
|
Mary [volunteering since '05, works with toys] "MCC is like a second family to me, and I enjoy interacting with our customers. Sorting toys can be tedious, but I take pleasure in having them packaged and displayed nicely!"

Here are some areas we need help in:
CashieringAre you friendly and enjoy meeting new people? No experience necessary – all training provided. We are also looking for people who might not want a regular weekly shift but would be willing to be added to our relief list to be called in as needed. |
Donations CleaningAre you an expert cleaner? Then donations cleaning might be the perfect fit for you!
|
ReceivingWe are looking for friendly folks to accept donations from donors with a smile, offer a sincere thank you, and perform the initial sort. This is a busy position requiring the ability to lift items up to 30 lbs. Volunteer with us and see the wide variety of things that arrive each day! |
RetailOnce donations are sorted, we need volunteers to prepare and price the items before they make it to the retail floor. Each item you price is another item that can be sold to support MCC’s relief, development and peace work around the world. |
TestingIf you know a lot about electronics or small appliances and love working with them, our workshops might be the perfect place for you! |
If none of these areas of work interest you, let us know, we usually have something for everyone!
