Johnny Cash – The Fabulous Johnny Cash Vinyl Album (CL 1253)
Johnny Cash – The Fabulous Johnny Cash
Experience Johnny Cash’s unmistakable baritone and direct, heartfelt storytelling on The Fabulous Johnny Cash. Originally released in 1958, this album marked his debut LP for Columbia and showcases the country, gospel, and rockabilly influences that helped make him one of American music’s most enduring voices.
Highlights include Don’t Take Your Guns to Town, a cautionary story-song that became one of Cash’s signature early hits, the tender I Still Miss Someone, and the rural storytelling of Pickin’ Time. Together, these selections capture his gift for character-driven narratives, longing, and everyday life.

Condition and care
The record has been carefully cleaned with a Spin-Clean and placed into a new plastic sleeve. Minor scuffs are present. It was play-tested on a quality turntable and played through with no skips; minor pops and crackles were noticed.
The jacket is in fair condition, with wear on the front and back and writing on the front. This is a used copy with visible wear, not a mint-condition album. Playback results reflect the turntable used for testing.
