Supertramp’s Breakfast in America brings together melodic rock, bright keyboard arrangements and memorable songwriting. Originally released in 1979, the album became one of the British band’s best-known releases, showcasing the contrasting voices and songwriting styles of Rick Davies and Roger Hodgson.

Highlights include the searching lyrics and distinctive keyboard hook of “The Logical Song,” the breezy title track “Breakfast in America,” the singalong appeal of “Take the Long Way Home,” and the sharper rock edge of “Goodbye Stranger.” An enduring favourite for listeners who enjoy classic rock with pop hooks and thoughtful arrangements.
