Three Dog Night was one of the most commercially successful American rock groups of the late 1960s and early 1970s. Built around three powerhouse lead vocalists — Danny Hutton, Cory Wells, and Chuck Negron — the band had a rare gift for identifying outside material and transforming it into arena-ready hits.
