Prince and The Revolution’s Purple Rain brings together rock, funk, pop and soul in the landmark 1984 album associated with the film of the same name. Prince’s expressive vocals and guitar take centre stage alongside The Revolution’s band sound.

Album highlights

“When Doves Cry” pairs a spare, striking groove with one of Prince’s most recognizable vocal performances; “Let’s Go Crazy” opens with theatrical energy and guitar-driven momentum; and the title track builds to an emotional, anthemic finale. These are highlights, not a complete track listing.
