A milestone in iPod history
Apple introduced the third-generation iPod nano on September 5, 2007. It brought video playback to the nano range, pairing a wider 2-inch display with a redesigned interface and Cover Flow. Its short, broad silhouette set it apart from the taller nano designs that came before it, making it a distinctive example of Apple's late-2000s portable music players.
The range launched in 4GB and 8GB capacities, with green among the colours offered for the 8GB version. Today, its Click Wheel controls and dedicated-player design offer a nostalgic alternative to listening on a phone.

Apple originally rated this model for up to 24 hours of audio playback or 5 hours of video playback per charge when new. These are original manufacturer ratings, not a measurement or guarantee of this unit's current battery performance. Music syncing requires a compatible computer, software and connection cable.
