About the Artist

America is a folk-rock trio formed in London in 1970 by Dewey Bunnell, Dan Peek, and Gerry Beckley — sons of U.S. Air Force personnel stationed in England. Blending lush vocal harmonies with acoustic-driven arrangements, they broke through internationally with A Horse with No Name (1972) and quickly became one of the defining acts of the soft rock era. Their sound — warm, melodic, and meticulously crafted — earned them a devoted following on both sides of the Atlantic throughout the 1970s.

This copy has been carefully cleaned with a Spin-Clean record washer and placed into a new poly inner sleeve for protection.
