Bring a Halloween favourite to your turntable with Monster Mash by Bobby (Boris) Pickett And The Crypt-Kickers, presented here on a 7-inch, 45 RPM vinyl single.

Artist & recording highlights

Bobby Pickett became known for his playful horror-themed performance style, especially his Boris Karloff-inspired delivery. Originally released in 1962, “Monster Mash” blends novelty pop, rock-and-roll energy and a spoken-sung monster-party story. Its dance-craze humour and memorable chorus helped make it an enduring Halloween favourite.

The title song is the highlight, pairing a mad-scientist narrator with a gathering of familiar monsters and a catchy dance beat. This listing is for a 7-inch single, not a full-length album. The B-side title is "Monster's Mash Party".
